Curtis Garrett III was born and raised in Los Angeles and serves the Southern California real estate market, primarily working with first-time homebuyers. Curtis officially entered the real estate industry in 2020 as an assistant before becoming licensed in 2021. He comes from a family of Realtors® and was inspired to pursue a career in real estate after interning at his grandfather’s real estate firm during high school.
Curtis received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Due to his background in engineering, he is able to view a prospective investment and identify mechanical concerns before they pose major concerns to his clients.
Curtis is passionate about helping others, particularly those in underserved and minority communities, achieve the stability and freedom possible through homeownership. Homeownership offers avenues for long-term wealth and has a transformative effect on individuals and families. Curtis is motivated to serve his clients to the best of his abilities, and he draws upon his excellent communication skills, marketing expertise, and industry-related insights in order to do so.
Outside of work, Curtis volunteers for Project Success, a mentorship program for first-time minority college students, and has thus far achieved a 95% student retention rate. He has many passions and hobbies, including playing basketball with friends, practicing photography, and hiking in the mountains.
