Meet Vanessa Amador

Vanessa Amador was born in Los Angeles and has lived on both the East and West Coasts, with most of her years spent in the Sacramento, California, area. She attended George Mason University in Virginia and graduated from Lincoln Law School of Sacramento in 2015, becoming a licensed attorney in 2016. Beginning her real estate career as a sales agent in 2003, Vanessa worked for the first 10 years as a team with her mother. Thereafter, she successfully negotiated short sales and modifications for her clients and other licensed agents, formed and led a team of six agents, mentored, taught classes for agents and brokers on real estate contracts, and, ultimately, became a licensed broker.

 

In 2019, Vanessa began working as a full-time attorney in the area of estate planning — eventually adding property transfers, property disputes, landlord-tenant law, non-disclosure, breach of fiduciary duty, and other areas of law — providing a wide array of solutions for her clients. With her real estate background, Vanessa has quickly excelled in the legal field by successfully negotiating multiple settlements during mediation and participating in arbitration and trial hearings.

 

Vanessa juggles multiple licenses and services to a broad range of clients while maintaining her exceptional ethics and respect for her fiduciary duties and acting on her superior negotiating skills and thorough understanding of legal terms and implications. Before real estate, Vanessa worked for various large corporations and government agencies. This experience in executive management and human resources within legal and regulatory affairs, accounting and finance, and telecommunications provided a great foundation for her success.

 

She has earned several awards, including the Masters Club Lifetime Member from the Sacramento Association of Realtors®, and International President’s Circle and International Sterling Society from her previous brokerage. She also received the professional designation as a Short Sales and Foreclosure Resource (SFR®) from the National Association of Realtors®.
